2014-15: The Marauders saw Konrad Bald win a gold and a silver medal in the 50 and 100-metre breast events to highlight the CIS Finals, where the Mac men came in 6th place. The Marauder women wrapped up the season in 12th at the nationals. At the OUA championships, the Marauders captured the bronze medal in the team standings, while the women just missed the podium finishing 4th overall.
2013-14: McMaster again got medal winning swims from Cam Bailey and Konrad Bald as both took bronze medals at the CIS Championships. The Marauder men finished 4th in the team standings, which was the team's highest-ever finish at the nationals. The Marauder women's team set several personal bests and finished 11th overall at the CIS finals. At the OUA championships the McMaster men's team took the team Silver medal, while the Mac women also made the podium, finishing third in team standings. 25 Marauders qualified to swim at the nationals.
2012-13: Cameron Bailey (200m IM) and Konrad Bald (100m breast) each won individual silver medals at the CIS Championships ... The freestyle relay team of Sarah Taylor, Emma Mittermaier, Meg Sloan and Emily Fung won bronze in the 4x100m event and broke the McMaster record by six seconds ... Mittermaier's leg of the race broke a McMaster record previously held by Olympian Janet Cook ... The Marauders broke 15 school records and three provincial ones at the OUA Championships ... McMaster swimmers claimed eight gold medals and 17 individual podium finishes in total at the OUA Championships ... Konrad Bald won two gold (50m and 100m breast) and one silver (200m breast) ... Cameron Bailey won a gold (200m IM) and bronze (400m IM) ... Ben Stubbs claimed silver in the 200m backstroke and 400m IM ... Emma Mittermaier won gold in the 50m and 100m freestyle races ... Sarah Taylor won silver in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly ... Alexa Vanommen won gold in the 50m and 100m breaststroke events, and a bronze in the 200m race ... Cam Bailey won the Dr. Jeno Tihanyi Trophy as the top male performer in the individual medley ... McMaster finished second in the OUA men's team standings and third in the women's
2011 - 12: Finished the OUA Championships with team bronze medals for both men's and women's... Medal haul included 27 medals, eight of which were golds from the likes of Cameron Bailey (4), Konrad Bald (2), Ben Stubbs (1), Matthew Vogelzang (2), and Michael MacDonald (1)... The Marauders had seven All-Stars at the OUA Championships.... The men would take second place in team standings and the women earned third... At the CIS Championships, Bailey won a silver medal in the 200 freestyle and a bronze in the 4000m free, capturing the first CIS medals for the men's team since Cole began his coaching career at McMaster.. Bailey won the Jeno Tihanyi Trophy for Excellence in Individual Medley award at the OUA Championships and was named the OUA Swimmer of the Year.. He was also a finalist for McMaster's Male Athlete of the Year.
2010 - 11: McMaster women earned third team bronze medal at OUA Championships, men finished with a bronze...rookie Erin MacFadyen won the 200 breaststroke with a CIS qualifying time of 2:33.51 and won two more bronze medals in the 100 breaststroke and 400 medley relay...rookie Natasha-Strass-Hundal earned her first OUA gold medal in the 200 free relay at 1:49.43, also won a silver and a bronze...Sarah Taylor won a gold in the 200 free, silver in 50 free, bronze in 50 fly...Cameron Bailey won the Individual Medley Excellence Award, three golds, two silver and a bronze at the OUA's...men's 400 free relay broke an OUA record with a time of 3:24.65, the relay team was made up of Bailey, Matthew Vogelzang, David Landry and Michael MacDonald...overall McMaster won a total of 20 medals and named nine All-Stars...Qualified 26 swimmers for the CIS Championships.
2009 - 10: McMaster women finished with second consecutive OUA bronze medal while men finished fifth...Sarah Taylor finished second in both the women's 50m free (26.68) and 50m fly (28.61).. Alexandra Van Ommen also won silver in 100m breaststroke (1:24.54).. Frank Despond finished second in the men's 1500m free (15:59.85)... The women's 200m medley relay team of Brooke Buckland, Van Ommen, Taylor and Meg Sloan also broke a three year old OUA record by .46 seconds (1:58.22) to finish second behind the new record holders from Western (1:55.16)...Women's 400m medley of Buckland, Van Ommen, Sarah Thompson and Sloan finished second (4:20.58)...the 800m free relay Lindsay Charles, Rachael McKay, Jessica Mackenzie and Louisa Chan raced to 8:36.17 for third...David Landry, Michael McDonald, Zach Dewolfe and Matthew Vogelzang finished second in the 200m free relay (1:34.22)... The same four also finished third in the men's 400m free relay (3:28.62) on day four of the OUA Championship... Taylor, Van Ommen and Despond were all named OUA All-Stars...Taylor became the first Marauder swimmer to earn a CIS medal since Janet Cook (2001-02) with her second place finish in the 50m fly (27.47)... Marauders collected 29 medals in 38 events while tallying 1738 points to claim the Campbell Division Championship in November.
2008 - 09: The Marauder women claimed third at the OUA Championship.. outstanding rookie Cameron Bailey won gold at the OUA Championship in the 100m free and the 200m just in front of Olympian Keith Beavers; his third medal was a silver in the 200m IM... Zach Dewolfe finished the competition with a bronze in the 100m free and golf in the 50m free...the men's 400m relay team of Bailey, Dewolfe, David Landry and Matthew Vogelzang won the gold in 3:28.97.. Sara Thompson picked up a bronze in the 50m fly.. Rookie Louisa Ye Chan raced to bronze in the 200m fly...Michelle Krug, Thompson, Meg Sloan and Stephanie Sun were second in the women's 400m medley relay...Ten Marauders were named OUA All-Stars..Eight Marauders made it to CIS finals, five of them being rookies.
2007 - 08: McMaster men finished third in the province at the OUA Championship with 422 points and the women finished fourth.. medalling for the men were Simon Gabsch in the 100m fly (bronze), and Tony Giannopoulos in the 1500m freestyle (bronze)... medalling for the women was Carly Cermak in the 400m free (gold) and 200m free (silver)... Chelsey Gotell broke her world record in the 200m backstroke at the Can Am Open competition for swimmers with a disability with a time of 2:35:04.
2006 - 07: Team finished of seventh in the women's competition and 11th in the men's event improving four and six places respectively at CIS Championship...Scott Chester was one of only two athletes in Canada to make the final in the 100, 200, and 400 freestyle at CIS Championship....Chester swam to lifetime best times in the 200 freestyle in 1:50.51 good for sixth...Carly Cermak scored points in the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle with lifetime best performances.... Cermak won the 400 & 800 consolation finals in 4:20.17 and 9:02.14 respectively...the women's 400m Medley team demolished the Marauder record by more than three seconds...the 4 X 200 men's freestyle relay team finished in 7:43.4 which was an incredible 10.5 second improvement over conference championship...15 swimmers qualified to the participate in the CIS Championships...Team finished second Overall at OUA Championships...Women's team placed second, men's team placed third...Brooke Buckland named 'Female Swimmer of the Meet', winning the 50m, 100m Backstroke and placing second in the 50m Freestyle...Carly Cermak won the 200m in both the Freestyle and IM disciplines, placing third in the 100m Freestyle and 400m IM...The 200m IM set a new meet record of 1:58.68...Chelsey Gotell set a World Record in the 400m IM for swimmers with a disability...Coach Cole was named OUA Women's Coach of the Year.
2005 - 06: Eight swimmers qualified for the CIS Championships...Scott Chester placed in the Top ten three times...Team finished third Overall at OUA Championships...Women's team placed second, men's team placed third...women's team brings home one gold, seven silver, and three bronze medals...men's team brings home one gold, three silver and one bronze.
