The McMaster Men's Basketball Team is proud to unveil the start to a new tradition at McMaster University, Midnight Madness! This night will celebrate the start of the 2011-12 campaign, with a nationally ranked all-star recruiting class, as they battle it out for the OUA Wilson Cup, and a birth to the CIS National Championship!  Gates open at 9pm and the festivities begin at 10pm featuring: McMaster Marauder Slam Dunk Contest and 3pt Shootout and the Maroon and White Inter-Squad Game!  
 
Admission is FREE and each fan in attendance will receive a limited edition Midnight Madness t-shirt, while supplies last!

Midnight Madness comes a week before the Marauder’s season opener on November 11^th and 12^th as they play the #1 nationally ranked Carleton Ravens and the Ottawa Gee Gees.  Both games will be held at the Burridge Gymnasium, game time starts at 8pm. McMaster players and Head coach Amos Connolly are excited for the possibility of this event, "The support of our student body is what will separate us from the other teams in the OUA.  Midnight Madness is an opportunity to start the momentum going into a very challenging conference schedule.  Come on students - be our 6th man this season!!"
