BOWES WINS BRONZE AT PRESTIGIOUS MEYO INVITATIONAL

The McMaster track team competed at the Notre Dame Meyo Invitational over the weekend against some top NCAA schools. 

McMaster's best finish of the day came from Graham Bowes (Kanata, Ont.). The fourth-year veteran took bronze in the men's 3000m run with a time of 8:29.42. Other Marauders finishing in the top 20 in that same race included Andrew Bysice (Oakville, Ont.) at 13th and Ryan Tice (Hamilton, Ont.) finished 14th. 

For the women, rookie Chelsea MacKinnon (Hamilton, Ont.) was the best finisher, taking ninth in the 1000m. Jillian Wyman (Dundas, Ont.) finished 15th in the 1 mile run and Victoria Coates (Newmarket, Ont.) took 16th place in the 3000m. 

The Marauders travel to Windsor next weekend to compete at the Windsor Team Challenge.
