The McMaster women's rugby team remains the top-ranked team in the CIS Top Ten, as the weekly rankings were announced Tuesday, with three other Marauder teams also in the mix.

The rugby Marauders ran their season record to 3-0 with a 32-0 decision over the Queen's Gaels, at home September 23. The Gaels entered the match up of ranked opponents as the no. 4 team in Canada. The Marauders will next travel to Peterborough for a match with Trent University this Saturday, October 1^st at 10:30 a.m.

The first set of cross country rankings were released, and after strong performances at the Western International meet on September 24, both Marauder teams are in the opening Top-Ten.  The Mac men debut at No. 6 in the nation, while the women's team is ranked 8^th.

Coming off a bye week, the Marauder football squad saw their ranking slip one spot, moving to the No. 8 position. Standing at 3-1 in the OUA, McMaster has an important game this Saturday, as the Guelph Gryphons come to Hamilton to try to spoil McMaster's Homecoming celebrations. Kickoff time for the big game is set for 1 p.m. and a very limited number of tickets are still available.
