CLASS DESCRIPTIONS:
 

Mac Cycle (40 minutes + cool down):
In the saddle, out of the saddle, speed work, hills – this class has it all! Every fitness level is welcome for this 50 minute ride led by one of our great cycling instructors!

Psycho Cycle (45 minutes + cool down):
Mac Cycle + More Intensity - Recovery Time = Psycho Cycle: An intense 50 minute ride designed for the hardcore cycling enthusiast. Don’t forget your towel, this is going to be a hot ride!

Extended Cycle (70 minutes + cool down):
So 50 minutes isn’t enough eh? This 70-minute ride is designed for those of you who want to leave it all on the bike. Class themes and focuses are switched up weekly to build your all-around fitness level. You’ll need the litre water bottle for this ride!

HIIT IT (25 minutes + cool down):
Don’t have a ton of time? Want a 30-minute workout with the same health and muscle gains of a 50-minute class? Try this class! Studies have shown that High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) 20 minutes in duration is equally as effective as working out for an hour or more. The only catch is it’s hard work! HIIT IT includes alternating fixed intervals of high and low intensity and is guaranteed to meet your fitness expectations.

*NEW* Hills (45 minutes + cool down):
This new class is for riders who love settling into a rolling rhythm – up, down, and repeat! After an introductory warm-up our veteran instructor will guide members through some steep incline work then get your wheels moving on the downhill sprints. From outdoor enthusiasts to new riders, and everyone in between, this 50 minute strength workout will leave your lungs and legs gasping for air as you reach your peak!

*NEW* Working With Watts (70 minutes + cool down):
Outdoor rider? Athlete in training? Ready to take your fitness to the next level? Then this 70 minute class is for you! Our instructor is an elite local cyclist who will design and periodize your workout with a very specific focus in mind: using your power output to target different energy systems. The result is a broad-spectrum workout that is sure to build your anaerobic capacity, aerobic tolerance and studio camaraderie. Bring on the burn!

*NEW* Psychedelic Cycle (40 minutes + cool down):
For our Saturday morning spin lovers, Psychedelic Cycle is hosted by our veteran instructor who will lead you through the twists, turns and twirls of a classic spin workout set to classic rock music. With an avid fan base, our instructor is as passionate about his playlist as he is about class members. We highly recommend this to kick off your weekend on the right note!

*NEW* Threshold Training (45 minutes + cool down):
This class is all about finding your own zone. As an evidence-based productive training method, threshold intervals boost physiological endurance without overtaxing your body. Our knowledgeable instructor will design classes to ensure your 50 minute workout is “comfortably hard”. This can be accomplished in many different ways so come prepared each week for a different style of fun!

3h Ride:
If you want a challenge, look no further. Hosted once at the end of each term, this class serves as the pinnacle achievement for members who want to reap the rewards of their hard work. Divided between four instructors, each term will have a special theme that is sure to keep studio synergy high. It’s a great team-building event that will leave you smiling, sweaty and spent, with a certificate for your efforts! Keep an eye out for a sign-up sheet since this popular event fills up quickly!
